  • Education

Lily currently attends the University of Louisville, where she has maintained above-average grades and a 4.0 GPA throughout her academic career. She currently serves on the YYAEL (Youth, Young Adults, and Emerging Leaders) National Team and as the Kentucky Right to Life Youth Director. Lily strives to be a well-rounded student and has been recognized with St. Vincent de Paul’s National Emerging Leader Award, the St. Vincent de Paul Rose Award, and the WLKY Bell Award. She was also recently honored as a Distinguished Citizen.

While in high school, Lily piloted her lesson plans by fully living them out and following them to the best of her ability. She was involved in over 25 clubs, held president or chair positions in 10 of them, served on FBLA’s National Southern Council and State Office as Reporter and Media Director, interned with state representatives, and conducted underwater research in Mammoth Cave—where she and three colleagues discovered a previously unknown section of the cave system. She also launched her own podcast, I’m Just Gonna Say It Anyway.

  • Her Work

‍ Lily founded her first nonprofit, Wrapped in God’s Warmth, at the age of 12 to support those in need during the colder months, and she continues to operate it to this day. P.E.E.P. is her next major initiative, created to address the question, “What is my purpose?”

Lily hopes this program will support students who feel overwhelmed by uncertainty about the future by providing meaningful exposure and real-world experiences within the workforce, empowering them to discover what they want to do.

Future plans

Lily hopes to continue growing P.E.E.P. and Wrapped in God’s Warmth throughout the remainder of her college career. She is majoring in Business Economics and Philosophy, with a minor in Spanish. She plans to attend law school and pursue a career in government. Lily is driven by a desire to make a positive impact on the world and to help others recognize the importance of gaining proper exposure to a variety of career paths as students.
